Mike was a wonderful man and will be very much missed by all in the Neuroscience community at the University of Sussex. He was hugely respected and loved for his science, his warm personality, his mentorship and huge contribution to Neuroscience at Sussex, which continued until very recently. As an emeritus professor he was always around, keenly attending and presenting seminars, and always had time to stop and chat to colleagues, senior and junior. The Sussex Neuroscience community and all in the School of Life Sciences send warm thoughts and sincere condolences to his family.
