When I was at primary school, our cat Tatiana had kittens.  I was asleep at the time, but Dad was on hand to help bring three new creatures into the world. As he was the midwife to the miracle of life, he got to name them Ginge (the ginger ones), Biggles (the bigger tabby one) and Algy (the smaller tabby one). I remember Dad being quite moved by the experience, and he took some absolutely beautiful photographs, so that we could share in the wonder of their first few moments.
